DentalGO App: Our First Seven Days

In 2026, we created the first web prototype of DentalGO App and invited participants to use it for seven days.

Characters responded when users reported brushing their teeth. Coins, a map and mini-quizzes about dental health added different ways to engage with the experience. This was the very first version of DentalGO.

In this early proof of concept (PoC1), we explored how participants used the experience, including continued use, usability and changes in knowledge. We are currently preparing an academic paper based on the data collected.

This seven-day web experience was only the beginning. We are now developing a new iOS version that brings together interactions with characters, storytelling and dental science.
